I've always loved surreal.

Okay, I've gotta explain this.

A few months ago I did an art trade with She got this: [link] , I got the horse: [link] I also bought a clay sperm charm [link] . C'mon! Who else can say they bought a sperm charm?

Anyway, my trading partner got busy with life and her upcoming wedding (Yay!) and didn't get around to shipping my half of the trade until long after I've shipped hers. It was around Christmas then, so she decided to give me a freebie for waiting so long--a cute little hand-drawn minion Christmas card!

I truly didn't mind waiting all that time, but I was thrilled when I got my goodies! I wanted to show them off! But, I couldn't just take a pic of them--that would be boring. So, I pondered awhile, and realized my assorted collection of goodies were kind of surreal. So, I added a few more props and did a surreal minion photo!

There's the card, right in the middle, and a few minion buddies that are for sale at my Etsy shop [link] to keep it company. There's the horse, and the sperm is resting on top of tillandsia--a live air plant. Yes, they make plants that don't need dirt, you just dunk them in water every week or so. I actually got this one from another shop on Etsy [link] . The hanging...bearded, elfish..thing was a free gift from another Etsy seller [link] . And, the background is actually my open journal--with a few pages of the as-yet unpublished Chapter 4 of my Lunch Break fic. ...so you all get a nice gander at the hen-scratch known as my handwriting!
